Job summary

Yokohama TWS NA is seeking a Regional Transportation and Trade Compliance Advisor to oversee regional logistics operations and ensure compliant, cost-efficient shipping across North and Latin America. You will manage regional trade compliance, optimize transport networks, and partner with cross-functional teams to support growth.

The role demands 5+ years in logistics or trade compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain required.
• 5+ years experience in logistics, transportation, trade compliance, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of multi-modal transportation (LTL/FTL/LCL/FCL).
• Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Oversees transportation operations for the region including North America and Latin America.
• Ensure compliance with regulations related to customs compliance and transportation safety.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with Regional Supply Chain teams as well as operations, commercial sales, finance and customer service.
• Analyze data and metrics to assess carrier performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
• Maintain import/export parts master data to ensure compliance with classification, valuation, and other regionally specific trade regulations.
• Ensure on-time delivery performance while balancing service levels and cost efficiency.
• Monitor shipment execution and proactively resolve delays, service failures, OS&D issues, and other logistical challenges.
