Job summary

thyssenkrupp Presta North America seeks a Regional Trade Compliance Manager to lead import/export governance, audits, and risk management across the Americas. You will collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize duty exposure.

The role requires 5–7 years in trade compliance, strong CBP/Mexico customs knowledge, and SAP ERP experience, with a focus on automotive manufacturing processes and supplier qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years in international trade compliance or related functions.
• Experience in US and Mexico operations preferred; automotive/manufacturing background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, USMCA origin rules, RVC, and FTAs.
• Familiarity with SAP ERP modules MM/PP/SD and related trade compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade compliance oversight and support for import/export activities, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Support country-of-origin determinations, RVC calculations, and FTA qualifications.
• Evaluate supplier changes and localization impacts to optimize duty exposure and compliance.
• Communicate tariff, duty, and customs cost exposure to commercial teams.
• Assist in audits, KPIs, and risk assessments across the region.
