Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is seeking an International Trade & Compliance Manager to lead global trade programs, ensure import/export compliance, and minimize regulatory risk at our Kennesaw, GA facility. You will manage classifications, audits, and training, working with legal, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams.

The role requires 10+ years in trade compliance, strong analytical skills, and experience with SAP and multinational operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Law, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee global trade compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Review and approve international shipments for compliance and oversee brokers/3PLs.
• Manage export classifications and country-of-origin determinations.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments; remediate gaps.
• Develop and deliver trade compliance training for employees.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams to support objectives.
• Establish KPIs and compliance metrics.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and due diligence from a trade perspective.
