Job summary

thyssenkrupp is seeking a Regional Trade Compliance Manager to drive trade compliance programs across the Americas, supporting import/export operations for the Development Center. The role partners with Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain to manage regulatory risk and cost recovery strategies.

The candidate will oversee country-of-origin determinations, RVC calculations, and FTAs while ensuring alignment with corporate governance and ongoing audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in international trade compliance or related fields.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations in the US and Mexico preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, USMCA rules of origin, and free trade agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide trade compliance oversight for import/export activities across the Americas region.
• Support country-of-origin determinations, RVC calculations, and FTAs qualification analyses.
• Evaluate impact of supplier changes and localization projects on duty exposure.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory risk through audits, reporting, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain and Plant Trade Compliance teams.
