Job summary

NFI is seeking a Regional Vice President of Transportation Operations who will report to the SVP of Transportation and drive growth and profitability of the Dedicated Transportation Division. This role blends strategic leadership with operational execution across the region.

You will build executive relationships, coach leaders, collaborate with Sales, manage budgets and KPIs, and deliver monthly financial and operational analyses to meet NFI’s goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/related field required; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years in transportation/logistics with progressive leadership and P&L oversight
• Background in dedicated/private fleet preferred
• Strong analytical/mathematical skills
• Strong financial concepts
• MS Office, reporting, analytics and presentations software proficiency

Responsibilities

• Define Transportation strategy with SVP and leadership to meet customer and employee satisfaction targets.
• Build executive relationships to retain and grow business across regions.
• Develop and coach regional leaders, recruit and retain high-performing teams.
• Collaborate with Sales to increase regional activity and revenue opportunities.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational analyses to monitor performance against budget.
• Manage region budget and KPI reporting to align with NFI objectives.
• Create operational plans to increase revenue and output at current locations.
• Drive continuous improvement and change initiatives across the region.
