Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Sales/Service Representative to join our Bus Solutions team across a multi-state region. You will handle sales and service activities for end users and OEM accounts, promoting solutions and managing relationships to meet sales goals.

This role requires up to 80% travel, strong account management, and the ability to articulate product benefits to engineering, operations, and safety teams. A high school diploma is required; CRM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant sales experience in the Bus Transit Sector, or equivalent, including project and account management.
• High school diploma/equivalent required, college degree preferred
• Experience using a CRM preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office applications skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service several OEMs in the region, including training and account management.
• Promote, sell, and secure new business while maintaining and managing existing accounts.
• Develop new business opportunities with customers served while ensuring product specifications are written in orders for bid.
• Provide accurate sales forecast and market data to Regional and National Manager.
• Position may require up to 80% travel to customers, sister companies, trade shows, and to Vapor (Chicago) and Ricon (San Fernando).
• Demonstrated competency in managing contracts and OEM customers.
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage a home office as well as time and territory.
• Communicate selling points to Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Safety professionals.
