Job summary

Roofstock is seeking a Trade Specialist based in Dallas to review and price occupied service requests in an assigned region. You’ll manage a queue of tasks, support cross‑functional operations teams, and contribute to standardized pricing tools.

Responsibilities include validating estimates, sharing maintenance knowledge with internal teams, coordinating with vendors, reviewing invoices, and assisting in price‑book and standardization projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in residential maintenance, construction, home insurance, or estimating.
• Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate deals and pricing structures.
• Excellent planning, organization, delivery skills, and ability to perform under high pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with technology-driven processes.

Responsibilities

• Use maintenance knowledge to review and validate estimates above standard not-to-exceed limits.
• Share maintenance knowledge with internal teams by leading training and providing context on complex scopes.
• Serve as a liaison to vendors for scope and pricing needs.
• Support R&M by processing onsite increase requests and ensuring timely responses.
• Review the quality of work to assist with escalations and approvals.
• Assist in projects related to price books and standardization.
• Review invoice submissions to ensure work performed matches pricing expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
