Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company seeks a Territory Supervisor to oversee operations across assigned Georgia stores, including Rincon, driving profitability and customer satisfaction. Lead store managers, forecast budgets, and manage staffing while traveling as needed.

Key duties include financial analysis, audits, vendor relations and ensuring compliance with company policies. Strong management and communication skills required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years convenience store management experience.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must work at least 5 ½ days per week, 10 hour days including evenings and nights.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Excellent communication, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and to work independently.
• Must be capable of understanding and analyzing financial statements.
• Frequent travel required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Gate's customers are the first priority to guarantee customers continue to visit Gate stores.
• Provide positive interaction with customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Promote a customer-first approach, ensuring all customers receive courteous treatment and efficient service.
• Ensure a friendly and efficient checkout experience for customers.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
• Communicate accurately and positively to customers and other staff.

• Operate all equipment in accordance with the duties assigned each day.
• Handle all payments following all GATE policies.
• Monitor for and report any safety hazards to provide a safe work environment.
• Adherence to GATE attendance policy by working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ensure compliance with all GATE policy, procedures, objectives and direction
• Monitor and maintain proper stock levels, automated ordering, and vendor relationships.
• Participate in goal setting and budget development for units in assigned territory, including forecasting sales, controlling expenses, and tracking financial performance across locations
• Provide leadership and direction to store managers, assistant managers and other employees to maximize net profits, sales and control expenses.
• Maintain regular communication with senior leadership, providing updates on store performance, challenges, and successes.
• Hold monthly territory meetings to discuss operational updates, performance, and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure timely and accurate creation of store schedules, balancing operational needs with employee availability and labor cost management.
• Active involvement in the recruiting process for all stores including interviews for all employees.
• Administer consistent and fair disciplinary actions for store managers and assistants, including performance assessments and terminations, in line with policy.
• Ensure consistent and fair disciplinary procedures, including documentation, performance evaluations, and terminations, for all store employees.
• Conduct and oversee inspections and audits monthly (store inspections, night rides, cash audits, inventory, safety, compliance, security).
• Conduct price surveys of competition and adjust store pricing accordingly.
• Verify completion of required paperwork and daily reports to Gate.
• Promote a safe working environment for all employees and customers; maintain safe equipment and facilities.
• Conduct robbery prevention training per policy and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports and communicate findings to leadership and staff.
• Knowledge of store layouts, demographics and limitations.
