GATE Petroleum seeks a Store Manager to lead a high-energy team and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will oversee operations, inventory, training, and compliance while driving sales and profits at the Tallahassee location.

The role requires strong leadership, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to manage schedules, safety, and maintenance. A valid license and English proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to support alcohol and tobacco sales.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English at a level sufficient for staff and customers.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, reach (including overhead).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to staff to maximize customer service, profits, and sales.
• Ensure store operations and inventory are controlled; monitor shelves and coolers, place orders.
• Handle safety issues, maintenance, and equipment repairs.
• Receive and process vendor deliveries; promote programs and pricing.
• Ensure friendly checkout experience and shift coverage; support HR and policy compliance.
