Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking a Supervisor Region Operations to manage field technicians across designated service areas and ensure profitable, high-quality residential and business services.

You will develop a capable, customer-focused team, enforce safety and quality standards, and coordinate with contractors and government agencies while upholding company policies.

Ideal location includes Casa Grande, Chandler, or Florence, with compensation reflecting national data ranges and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing teams in a telecom technical environment.
• Experience developing employees, including training, coaching and mentoring in a union environment.
• Proficient with Excel, email, Word, and legacy systems.
• Knowledge of installation and maintenance of residential and business services, Local Network processes, and Forged Fiber products.
• Understanding of splicing and construction in the telecom industry.
• Experience with contractor relations.
• Ability to work consultatively with others, build rapport, interview, present options, and follow up.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operation of outside and inside plant network services and technicians.
• Serve as the single point of contact between Forged Fiber and Contractors to resolve issues during construction/maintenance.
• Lead training and development to improve processes and quality standards, customer contact, safety, and efficiency.
• Lead a team of technicians to meet attendance and performance standards.
• Represent Forged Fiber with customers and governmental agencies.
• Collaborate with the union for productive working relationships.
• Celebrate successes and recognize performance and improvements.
• Motivate the team for continuous improvement and maximum performance.
