Job summary

Bloomingdale's is seeking a Regional Technology Manager to lead store technology deployments, QA, and incident management across a defined regional area. You will work with store managers and central IT to ensure technology initiatives align with operations and deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate blends project management with strategic technical thinking, guiding deployments, documenting best practices, and driving user adoption across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or related field.
• 3–5 years in technology operations, IT project management, or retail systems support.
• Strong PM skills to coordinate deployments and timelines across locations.
• Strategic thinker translating operational challenges into adoption plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; 1-on-1 consultations with store leadership.
• Proven experience handling major technology escalations and QA/testing processes.
• Knowledge of retail environments, network infrastructure, POS systems, and MDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional technology pilots, rollouts, and upgrades with minimal store disruption.
• Collaborate with central IT to align readiness and rollout pacing with priorities.
• Coordinate regional QA, testing, and config management for zero-defect deployments.
• Visit stores to advise on leveraging existing systems to hit targets.
• Synthesize feedback into roadmaps and guide central teams on adjustments.
• Act as primary leader during outages and coordinate vendors for fixes.
• Develop training materials and runbooks; drive adoption across stores.
• Monitor regional incident data and propose proactive support strategies.
