Job summary

Barry’s is seeking a Talent Development Lead to guide regional instructor talent, programming, and class quality. The role focuses on developing WOW experiences, coaching instructors, and maintaining strong brand standards across studios.

You will recruit, train, and manage performance, lead quarterly team events, and partner with marketing to grow personal brand presence within the Barry’s community.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain Instructor or personal training certification; CPR certification; experience leading group training or working as a personal trainer.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Outstanding communication and people skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office, Google Suite and various business software.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talent Development for regional Barry’s team, focusing on WOW experiences and instructor programming.
• Evaluate Instructor performance with weekly WOW Experience Evaluations and follow-up coaching.
• Recruit, train and onboard new Instructors; manage pipeline and interview/audition processes.
• Oversee teaching schedule with at least 15 Red Room classes per week and ensure brand standards across studios.
• Conduct monthly team meetings and quarterly Barry’s Bonding activities to build culture.
