Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. seeks a Systems Engineer to support regional Account Managers in pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales. You will be the main technical resource on sales calls, qualify leads, and train customers post-sale.

Required are 1–3 years in technical/pre-sales and 3–5 years in LAN/WAN/Internet services, with strong networking and encryption knowledge. Relevant certifications and Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

1-3 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
3-5 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
Proven understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus.
Solid understanding in RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
Exceptional presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint.
Sales calls - be the main technical resource on sales calls and educate on features, specs, functionality, and integration.
Post-sales - lead technical contact for identified accounts and work with support to resolve issues.
Provide assistance to identified customers with post-sales training.
