Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager – Substation to lead regional EPC and construction projects across substations, BESS, and renewable energy facilities. You will manage budgets, schedules, resources, and risk, while driving profitability and client satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate field teams and senior management across a geographically dispersed region. Travel will be required as part of regional oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in substation construction, EPC delivery, or regional leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for regional substation EPC and construction projects (greenfield/brownfield/BESS/renewable energy).
• Manage regional programs and project portfolios to meet safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals.
• Forecast regional resources and visit project sites to support operations and safety initiatives.
• Directly manage projects and collaborate with GM and VP on regional growth strategies.
• Ensure timely reporting to management, clients, and stakeholders.
