Apex Clean Energy is seeking an Operations Specialist to drive peak performance across its Texas assets. The role covers maintenance, operation, and repair of substations and BOP electrical equipment, with SCADA oversight and regional support to site managers.

You will apply advanced electrical knowledge, lead programs, and travel up to 50% within Texas. A strong degree and 5+ years’ related experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• At least five years of experience maintaining BOP electrical systems on wind/solar facilities.
• Knowledge of substation equipment: electrical, mechanical, and control.
• Protection and control experience with microprocessor relay and event analysis.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced electrical work in maintenance, operation, and repair of substations and BOP equipment.
• Monitor and operate SCADA systems for distribution and switching.
• Diagnose problems using electronics and electrical knowledge.
• Evaluate abnormal conditions and support routine maintenance programs.
• Lead regional support to site managers and travel to Texas project sites as needed.
