Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Process Design Manager in the Puget Sound region. You will lead process and mechanical design for municipal facilities, mentor staff, and contribute to client relationships and project delivery across the Water team.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license with 15+ years of municipal water/wastewater experience, and can collaborate across Western Washington or Portland, OR, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in municipal water and wastewater planning, design, and construction.
• Experience leading technical design efforts and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and mechanical design for treatment facilities.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate design efforts across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and work plans.
• Foster client relationships and serve as a technical resource.
• Mentor staff and support Water practice growth.
• Assist business development through client engagement.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in design approaches.

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, or related engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license
