Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a District Manager to lead at least 15 store teams across the assigned area in Arkansas. Responsibilities include driving profitability, ensuring customer service excellence, and maintaining a safe, compliant work environment.

You will coach store managers, oversee merchandising and operations, recruit talent, and travel up to 50% to support district-wide execution. Prior multi-store retail leadership is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years retail experience with at least 2 years multi-store experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze data and manage budgets effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead 15 store teams across the district to drive profitability and customer service.
• Oversee merchandising, operations, and expense control programs.
• Coach store managers to meet business objectives and develop talent.
• Source and recruit store managers within the district.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays to support operations.
