Job summary

Minerals Technologies Inc. is seeking a Steel Mill Service Manager to lead all Steel Mill service operations in the Western region, including Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.

The role requires travel and a focus on safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. You will manage the SMS group, drive operational excellence, report monthly on Field Operations, and coordinate with HR and MINTEQ departments to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in refractory sales or industrial manufacturing.
• Prior experience supervising a work group.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety for Steel Mill Service force.
• Oversee SMS group: safety, performance, equipment maintenance, payroll.
• Drive operational excellence and identify key metrics.
• Report monthly on Field Operations and financial performance.
• Develop relationships with customers and MINTEQ departments.
• Staff projects and material trials; collaborate with HR on policies.
