Job summary

Sodexo invites an experienced Venue Stadium Chef to lead culinary operations at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA. You will oversee multi-unit culinary execution, drive menu development, and oversee large-scale catering with a focus on safety, costing, and system-wide standards.

The role emphasizes training both frontline staff and culinary leaders, with responsibility for recruitment support and regional culinary excellence across the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• Related experience: 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-unit culinary expertise across a wide geographic area.
• Support menu development, large-scale catering, and recipe creation.
• Ensure food safety standards and frontline/manager training.
• Assist with system implementation, plate costing, and inventory oversight.
• Maintain standards, assist recruitment, and elevate regional culinary performance.
