Job summary

Concordia is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our Rehabilitative team across Central PA. This full-time, travelling role offers a $10,000 relocation/sign-on bonus for new grads or experienced therapists.

We expect licensed SLPs to evaluate residents, deliver individualized therapy, and document care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. New graduates welcome; inpatient rehab or SNF experience preferred; competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.

Responsibilities

Our licensed SLPs evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized treatment to help our skilled nursing residents and patients restore speech, improve cognition, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent disabilities - supporting our residents’ and short-term rehab patients’ recovery, independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities of Speech Therapists:

• Perform resident evaluations, provide direct therapy services and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborates with Interdisciplinary Team and provides family and caregiver education to improve patient quality of life.
• Submits timely and accurate documentation.

Background and Expertise of a Speech Therapist:

• Current Speech Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited SLP program.
• *** New Speech Therapy graduates welcome and encouraged to apply. ***
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
• Ability to communicate and work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
