Job summary

BB Imaging is seeking an experienced MFM Sonographer to elevate their career as a Regional Sonographer, supporting clinics across Washington with occasional coverage in Richland and Moses Lake. You will work independently across multiple MFM settings, filling shifts in Spokane and surrounding areas while sharpening your clinical skills.

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN specialty certification.
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE) credentialed.
• Minimum 1+ year of MFM/high-risk OB sonography experience.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and OB/GYN medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Perform sonographic procedures across multiple clinical settings.
• Cover low-risk and MFM sites and outreach clinics.
• Review patient charts, reports and medical history.
• Create reports to assist documentation by physicians.
• Evaluate sonograms for fetal anomalies.
• Communicate findings to physicians.
• Provide guidance for amniocentesis procedures.
• Report machine errors and maintain image quality.
• Restock rooms with supplies for exams.
• Pursue CMEs to enhance knowledge.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by managers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Perform sonographic procedures. (No surprise there!)
• Cover a variety of clinical settings; including low-risk and MFM sites, outreach clinics.
• Inspect and review patient charts, reports, lab results, and medical history.
• Create reports to assist the physician with documentation.
• Evaluate sonograms to identify or rule out patient/fetus anomalies.
• Communicate sonographic findings to physician.
• Provide visual sonographic guidance to complete successful amniocentesis.
• Communicate machine errors or need to maintain quality machines and imagery.
• Restock sonography rooms with required supplies for sonography performance.
• Increase your knowledge of diseases and new procedures through CMEs.
• Other duties assigned by managers.

IS THIS YOU?

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty
• Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE)
• 1+ yr of MFM, high-risk OB sonography experience
• Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty
• Knowledgeable of applied physics related to ultrasound
• Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems
• Able to communicate effectively with physicians, clients, and team members
• Able to remain calm in emergencies or patient distressMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future

DO YOU SCORE ANY BONUS POINTS?

• Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length
• Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study
