About Us

IRONCLAD powered by Mersino is a national provider of liquid storage, dewatering, and environmental rental solutions serving the energy, industrial, petrochemical, and construction markets. Formed through the merger of Ironclad Environmental and Mersino Dewatering, the combined company operates a multi-branch network across Texas, Louisiana, California, the Upper Midwest, and other key industrial regions, delivering rental fleet, engineered water management, and liquid containment solutions to customers who depend on uptime, safety, and technical expertise.

About The Role

The Regional Solutions Specialist is a technical and operational Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for leading complex dewatering, and groundwater management projects across an assigned region. This role brings together deep dewatering expertise with hands‑on project management accountability – owning solutions from design and proposal through mobilization, execution, and close‑out.

Operating at the intersection of Sales, Operations, Fleet, and Customer Solutions, the Regional Dewatering Solutions Specialist partners closely with Branch teams, Sales, TSG, and customers to develop practical, safe, efficient, and cost-effective dewatering and groundwater management solutions that win work, improve execution, reduce operational risk, and expand market share.

This is a highly visible, field‑oriented role requiring deep dewatering engineering knowledge combined with strong project management capability and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on builder and problem solver who brings credibility to both customers and internal teams – equally comfortable designing a complex wellpoint system or leading a project review with a municipal client.

What You’ll Do
Dewatering Technical Leadership – 35%
  • Serve as the regional technical SME for:
  • Excavation and construction dewatering
  • Wellpoint, deep well, and eductor (jet pump or ejector) systems
  • Groundwater control and recharge
  • Temporary piping, conveyance, and discharge management
  • Filtration, treatment, and containment integration
  • Environmental and remediation dewatering applications
  • Design and develop dewatering and groundwater management systems across construction, municipal, environmental, infrastructure, and industrial applications
  • Evaluate system requirements including:
  • Groundwater inflow rates and aquifer characteristics
  • Drawdown targets and dewatering zone geometry
  • Head calculations and friction loss
  • Well spacing, screen depth, and pump selection
  • Discharge volumes, water quality, and disposal requirements
  • Site conditions, soil types, and geotechnical data
  • Recommend optimized equipment configurations, dewatering strategies, and system layouts
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support on critical projects and field challenges
Project Management & Execution Ownership – 25%
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle – providing prompt responses and proactive communication at all stages
  • Drive projects from award to close‑out: coordinate procurement and assignment of people, equipment, and subcontractors required to perform the work
  • Ensure proper contracts, documentation, and agreements are executed and on file prior to mobilization
  • Maintain inventory management on assigned projects, ensuring all equipment is properly allocated so the company can accurately bill for all services rendered
  • Attend progress and critical‑issue meetings; prepare notes and reports as required; keep Branch leadership informed of major issues, changes, and risks
  • Maintain a continuous presence on projects during active operations, working with Crew Leaders to ensure proper execution of project specifications
  • Ensure all daily progress reports (Pump Water Reports, Wellpoint Reports, Driller Reports, etc.) are filed in project folders on time
  • Identify upsell and scope‑expansion opportunities as project needs evolve, coordinating with Sales to capture additional work
  • Manage project close‑out procedures including demobilization, final documentation, and lessons‑learned capture
Sales Partnership & Business Development – 20%
  • Partner directly with Sales teams to support strategically important and technically complex dewatering opportunities
  • Participate in customer meetings, site walks, project reviews, and solution‑development discussions
  • Assist with estimating, system configuration, technical proposals, and scope development for dewatering and groundwater control projects
  • Help identify and drive cross‑selling opportunities between dewatering, bypass pumping, filtration, containment, and environmental service offerings
  • Support growth within key vertical markets: construction, civil infrastructure, utilities, municipal, and environmental
  • Build customer confidence through technical credibility, responsiveness, and a track record of successful project delivery
Training, Technical Development & Best Practices – 10%
  • Train Sales and Operations teams on dewatering systems, applications, and best practices
  • Develop technical reference materials, application guides, dewatering playbooks, and method statements
  • Share lessons learned and field insights across branches and regions
  • Support standardization of dewatering and groundwater management best practices throughout the organization
  • Coordinate with the Safety Department to ensure safety programs are strictly followed on all projects, tracking all safety activities including daily JSAs
Fleet, Innovation & Strategic Support – 10%
  • Partner with Fleet and Operations leaders to identify equipment gaps, utilization trends, and fleet optimization opportunities specific to dewatering
  • Recommend new technologies, specialty dewatering equipment, and emerging groundwater management solutions
  • Provide market and customer feedback to support long‑term commercial and operational strategy
  • Support development of differentiated dewatering capabilities across the business
What Success Looks Like
  • Increased win rates on complex dewatering and groundwater management opportunities
  • Faster, more accurate technical solution development and proposal turnaround
  • Projects delivered on time, within budget, and without injury
  • Strong collaboration between Sales and Operations with reduced handoff friction
  • Improved operational execution and reduced project risk in the field
  • Increased cross‑selling and bundled solution capture
  • Higher customer confidence and technical credibility in the dewatering markets
