Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Director of Solutions Engineering to lead technical sales execution across domains and regions. You will partner with RVPs and sales leaders to translate strategy into territory plans, allocate resources, and drive pipeline quality while enabling rapid scale.

You will build a high-performing team, reinforce standards, and guide field processes for efficiency. Travel up to 25% across territories may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant technology, solution engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing architecture experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead Solution Engineering teams across multiple markets or territories and partner with regional sales executives.
• Ability to prioritize resources and execute across multiple territories within an established strategy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to guide and develop Solution Engineers aligned to your charter.
• Implement operating standards within domains to match company direction and sales priorities.
• Be accountable for Solutions Engineering performance, customer outcomes, and pipeline quality.
• Establish regional priorities, workforce plans, and allocation strategies.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing team of Solution Engineers.
• Participate in annual planning and strategic goal setting for Solutions Engineering.
• Promote cross-territory collaboration and consistent customer experiences.
• Lead technical engagement for strategic regional accounts and complex opportunities.
• Maintain portfolio expertise and deliver field enablement using company messaging and methods.
• Represent Flexential at industry events and monitor market trends and customer priorities.
• Provide field intelligence and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
