Job summary

CSS is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of solar facilities in the region. This role oversees a team of 6-10 field technicians, ensuring safe, on-time service delivery and high-quality customer service.

You will train staff, manage equipment and parts, coordinate emergencies, schedule preventive maintenance, and mentor staff to uphold OSHA and NFPA 70E standards. This position requires hands-on leadership and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in utility solar PV.
• 3 years of service or project-oriented management experience.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of 6-10 field technicians and instill CSS values of safety and quality customer service.
• Oversee all service obligations to ensure on-time deliverables and excellent customer service.
• Conduct training, skills verification, and QA/QC at least monthly for the field team.
• Coordinate emergency response and participate in a monthly on-call rotation.
• Plan annual preventive maintenance, including electrical and vegetation tasks.
• Manage tools, parts, and equipment; coordinate RMA with other teams.
• Review and approve personnel hours and manage subcontractors as needed.
• Maintain and advance solar O&M best practices, tools, and procedures.
