Job summary

Carolinas Solar Services seeks a Regional Manager to lead the operations and maintenance of solar facilities in the Charlotte region. The role ensures safe, timely service delivery and elite customer support, while guiding a 6–10 technician team and coordinating subcontractors as needed.

The candidate will maintain expertise in solar O&M best practices, manage daily work orders, and oversee budgeting and resource allocation. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in utility solar PV or equivalent.
• 3 years of service or project-oriented management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6–10 field technicians and model CSS values of safety and quality service.
• Oversee on-time completion of service obligations and exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate emergency response and maintain 365-day coverage with monthly on-call rotation.
• Create, schedule, review, and approve daily work orders for all sites and equipment.
• Plan annual preventative maintenance and prepare technicians for daily tasks with proper tools and training.
• Remotely guide field technicians in troubleshooting and repair.
• Assist with hiring and resource allocation for field technicians.
• Review and approve personnel hours and manage budget for the unit.
