REGIONAL SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER – EAST

DEPARTMENT: Marketing - Commercial

REPORTS TO: Corporate Marketing Communications and Social Media Director

LOCATION: Remote (PA, NY, NJ Preferred)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Social Media Manager is responsible for executing social media strategies across the eastern region within the Peregrine Hospitality portfolio (Currently: Camelback Resort, Blue Mountain Resort, AC Hotel Durham, Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront, and additional properties dependent on portfolio expansion). This role is a key interface between the company and social media audiences, ensuring consistency across all social media channels. The Manager focuses on driving social media performance, expanding brand awareness, and increasing engagement through strategic content creation and execution. Reporting to the Director of Communications and Social Media, the Regional Social Media Manager works closely with regional teams to ensure alignment with the overall brand vision and goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION:

  • Execute social media strategies tailored to the regional market, aligning with the overarching goals of the PEREGRINE HOSPITALITY brand.
  • Deliver compelling messages and engaging content across all relevant digital platforms, including Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Report on performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement (including new social media tools and processes).

CONTENT INNOVATION & EXECUTION:

  • Maintain knowledge of social media channels and trends to maximize regional impact.
  • Develop and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and relevant posts that resonate with the regional audience.
  • Create and curate engaging content, including visuals and copy, to support both corporate and property-specific objectives.
  • Assist with on-property shoots and collaborate with local teams to capture content that highlights the unique aspects of each property.

COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT:

  • Monitor regional social media channels, responding proactively to comments and inquiries to foster a positive online community.
  • Work closely with hotel guest service teams to manage guest feedback and complaints on social media, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Build relationships with regional social media influencers, coordinating collaborations to enhance brand visibility within key markets.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS in marketing, social media marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in social media or online marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for crafting engaging content.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in social media tools such as Canva, Dash Hudson, Brand Folder, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.
