Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking an Americas Regional RS/HS Security Engineer to lead day-to-day defensive information security operations across IT, OT, and R&D environments. You will drive threat detection, incident response, and exposure management, partnering with security architects, red teams, and engineering groups to strengthen our security posture and ensure continuous operations.

This role requires onsite presence five days a week at our Americas location, with experience in OT

Qualifications

• 4+ years of cybersecurity experience focusing on blue team and cyber defense.
• Experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Platform is required.
• Foundational IT and OT security knowledge including SCADA/ICP.
• Experience securing R&D environments and embedded systems.
• Hands-on with SIEM, EDR, and security automation.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST 800-82, and IEC 62443.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional cybersecurity professionals on threat detection and incident response for IT, OT, and R&D.
• Propose and enhance SOC processes, playbooks, automation, and alert triage.
• Provide SOC Tier 3 incident response capabilities and coordinate regional efforts.
