Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking an IT/OT Security Engineer & Incident Response Lead to own security engineering across corporate, cloud, and OT environments. You will be the hands-on security engineer during business hours and lead incidents from detection to resolution, coordinating IT, OT, OEMs, and leadership.

In this fast-growing manufacturing setting, you will strengthen EDR and vulnerability processes, manage secure remote access to OT networks, and partner with IT infrastructure and OT engineering

Qualifications

• OT/industrial security fundamentals — secure remote access, segmentation, ISA/IEC 62443.
• Incident response — able to lead technically during an event.
• Hands-on endpoint (EDR) and vulnerability management on comparable tools.
• Cloud/identity security basics (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID).
• Strong communicator across technical, plant, and executive audiences.
• Manufacturing or food-production environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Incident Response (primary): Serve as the business-hours incident lead and Incident Commander during cyber events, coordinate containment and leadership through resolution.
• Endpoint & Vulnerability: Administer EDR, investigate detections, drive remediation with IT and OT teams.
• OT Security (key focus): Manage secure remote access, OT segmentation, firewall rules, and production-aligned remediation.
• Cloud, Identity & Network: Support Microsoft 365 / Entra ID security, CA, MFA, review firewall rules and VPN.
• Governance (support): Assist with policies, audits, and security documentation.
• Projects: Contribute to security architecture reviews and vendor design reviews.
