Job summary

The Regional SOC/Incident Response Engineer at Liebherr-America, Inc. will implement and maintain security controls across the Americas, detecting and responding to incidents in collaboration with global teams.

This office-based role supports SOC tools, analyzes alerts, and documents findings to improve resilience. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field with 4+ years of IT security experience, strong network/system skills, and familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline and 4 years of IT security experience or 8 years equivalent experience.
• Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CISM, GIAC) can be accepted in lieu of degree; Security+ preferred.
• Strong technical skills in network, system and application security.
• Familiarity with SOC concepts and tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, vulnerability scanners).
• Scripting and automation experience; good communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and implements security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM) to detect incidents.
• Analyzes alerts/logs to identify true positives and prioritize incidents.
• Collaborates with security teams to resolve issues during incidents.
• Supports Information Security Governance with insights and documentation.
• Ensures availability and performance of SOC tools; reports to Head of Global SOC.
• Travel domestically and internationally occasionally; maintains driving license and passport.
