Daifuku is seeking an Operations Support Manager to lead site operational support across 50+ locations in the United States, guiding safety, training, and employee engagement while ensuring quality and cost targets are met.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on coaching to drive performance, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the service industry.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed, high-volume multi-site operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and project management capabilities.
• Proven analytical skills to identify and respond to trends.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Empower a world class safety culture with core commitment to safety.
• Support site leadership and technician teams to execute strategies and manage operations.
• Ensure safe, cost-effective, high-availability operations and maintenance across locations.
• Monitor KPIs related to safety, people, quality, output and cost.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety policies with site leaders.
• Oversee operations for 800+ employees across 50+ locations.
• Foster employee and customer engagement on-site and via virtual channels.
• Contribute to leadership discussions on operations, people, finances, and customer engagement.
• Assist long-term planning and optimize workflows to meet objectives.
• Develop solutions to operational challenges and manage external contractors.
• Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budget considerations.
• Provide performance feedback and support for appraisals and disciplinary matters.
• Mentor employees to achieve professional goals and exceed expectations.
• Plan and implement systems ensuring safety, environmental compliance and quality.
