HDR, Inc. is seeking an Area Safety Manager to lead safety and health programs across our projects. You will develop and review site-specific safety plans, audit SH&E compliance, and coordinate training on critical topics such as fall protection and hazardous energy control.

Travel within the designated region is required, and you will collaborate with project teams to mitigate risk and advance HDR’s safety culture within our employee-ownership model.

Qualifications

• 3+ years technical experience or educational equivalent in occupational health/safety.
• Extensive knowledge and application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of OSHA & ANSI regulatory standards.
• Ability to instruct and facilitate Safety, Health and Environmental training courses.
• Team-oriented with exceptional written and oral skills in support of SH&E requirements.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and supporting implementation of site-specific safety plans.
• Support project development teams in reviewing pursuits to identify and mitigate SH&E risk.
• Educate and support local safety coordinators in meeting SH&E requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SH&E auditing, inspection, and incident investigation protocols.
• Facilitate and deliver SH&E training including permit-required confined spaces, control of hazardous energy, fall protection, and first aid/CPR.
• Report safety performance indicators to area operations and management.
• Travel regularly within the assigned geographic area to support projects.
