Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Safety, Health & Environmental professional in Colorado to support site safety planning, training delivery, and SH&E compliance across multiple HDR locations.

You will help manage Job Hazard Analyses, audits, and incident investigations while promoting a culture of safety and employee ownership. The role requires 3+ years in health/safety, strong MS Office skills, and knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years technical experience or educational equivalent in occupational health/safety.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of OSHA & ANSI regulatory standards.
• Ability to instruct and facilitate Safety, Health and Environmental training courses.
• Team-oriented with exceptional written and oral skills in support of SH&E requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and support implementation of site-specific safety plans per HDR’s SH&E program and assist PMs and field teams with Job Hazard Analysis.
• Support project development teams in pursuing reviews to identify, plan for, and mitigate SH&E risk.
• Educate and support local safety coordinators in meeting SH&E requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in SH&E auditing, inspection, and incident investigation in field and office settings.
• Facilitate and deliver SH&E training, including permit-required confined spaces, control of hazardous energy, fall protection, and first aid/CPR.
• Display knowledge of applicable US Federal and state rules, and industry standards.
• Participate on area leadership team to support culture initiatives.
• Regularly report leading and lagging safety metrics to area operations and management.
• Travel within assigned geographic area to support projects, field teams, and offices.
