Job summary

Solution One Industries seeks a Service Manager for West Texas and New Mexico, based in Marfa, TX. You will lead a regional contract with CBP, overseeing maintenance operations, workforce management, and quality assurance to ensure mission success.

Role requires a senior leader capable of managing a large, skilled workforce, coordinating with government stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of professional experience as a technician in HVAC or mechanical systems and in quality control inspections of building systems.
• Trade Certification (HVAC, plumbing, electrical work) required or preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a manager of service technicians.
• Experience managing personnel, budgets, schedules, quality assurance programs, risk management and customer relationships.
• Experience overseeing large, geographically dispersed, or headquarters-level contract operations.
• Ability to pass a CBP Background Investigation and possess a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for contract personnel and subcontractors within a specified sector/region.
• Ensure contract performance aligns with requirements and KPIs.
• Oversee safety programs and compliance with procedures.
• Coordinate operations, inventory accountability, and workflow efficiency.
• Engage CBP leadership and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Direct program scheduling, budgeting, and risk mitigation across the sector.
