Job summary

Hilltop Residential is seeking a Regional Service Manager to provide hands-on leadership and strategic oversight for maintenance operations across a portfolio of multifamily properties in Austin. You will mentor on-site teams, drive service excellence, and ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to Hilltop standards.

In this role you will manage preventive maintenance, capital projects, and vacancy coverage, coordinate with Community Directors, and support recruiting and training of service

Qualifications

• 3+ years in multifamily maintenance with supervisory experience.
• Strong servant leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills across multiple properties.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• EPA/HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional maintenance support across properties, handling requests, preventive maintenance, capital projects, and vacancy coverage.
• Lead on-site teams, backfilling during high demand to ensure continuity.
• Mentor and onboard service team members and new Regional Service Managers.
• Conduct site visits to uphold safety, quality, and Hilltop's 48-Hour Work Order Guarantee.
• Lead unit turns using the Make Ready Checklist and oversee audits.
• Monitor inventory, purchasing, and vendor usage within budget.
• Collaborate with Community Directors to improve processes and resident satisfaction.
• Support renovations and special projects with on-site guidance.
• Coordinate due diligence inspections for acquisitions and post-takeover planning.
• Assist with recruiting and evaluating service staff.
