Job summary

Hilltop Residential is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for the Village at East Riverside in Austin, TX. You will repair and maintain the community, manage make-ready turnovers, and oversee preventive maintenance to keep facilities in top condition.

You will work on-site, respond to maintenance requests, and collaborate with the team to ensure resident satisfaction and safety. A certification in EPAHVAC is preferred and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• EPA license preferred.
• This role requires EPA Universal or HVAC certification.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs of the community.
• Be a creative problem solver who is attentive to detail, manage time well and learn quickly.
• Respond to service requests, collaborate with teammates and prioritize requests to earn resident trust.
• Know the make-ready schedule and initiate turnover with painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Tend to preventive maintenance to safeguard equipment and reduce costly repairs.
• Walk the property daily, inspect areas for cleanliness and safety, and maintain curb appeal.
