Job summary

Hilltop Residential is seeking a Regional Manager to lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of affordable and mixed-income communities in Austin and the Greater Dallas area. This role requires travel throughout the portfolio and a hands-on leadership style to drive performance and regulatory compliance.

You will coach onsite teams, ensure adherence to LIHTC/HUD programs, and partner with corporate to implement best practices while advancing Hilltop’s growth in workforce housing.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site multifamily property management experience.
• Direct experience with income-restricted or mixed-income communities.
• Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD or similar).
• Strong financial acumen: budgeting, variance analysis, reporting.
• Leads by example to develop people, not just manage them.
• Travel between Austin, TX and Greater DFW portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of affordable and mixed-income communities.
• Ensure portfolio compliance with housing requirements, leasing guidelines and program regulations.
• Develop and support onsite teams, coaching staff on operations and income-restricted management.
• Drive financial performance through revenue growth, expense control and reporting.
• Implement and improve site-level operating, maintenance and cost control procedures.
• Collaborate with the corporate team to share best practices and training.
