Job summary

Maxair Mechanical, LLC seeks a Service Area Manager to oversee all service work in the assigned area. The role reports to the General Manager and directs service technicians, dispatchers, and administrators, balancing financial performance with customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service focus, collaborative problem solving, tact and integrity. Responsibilities include budgeting, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to drive large service projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; technical field experience may substitute for degree.
• Excellent phone, written and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing operations and suppliers.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and work in a drug-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual revenue, gross margin budgets and operating margin budgets.
• Manage all direct reports and recruit for new hires.
• Coach and develop future leaders.
• Ensure accountability to performance metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain key customer relationships in the customer’s organization.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and project teams to price, win, and manage large service projects and PM opportunities.
