Job summary

AIR Control Concepts, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is seeking a Regional Service Director – Midwest to strengthen and advance service operations across the Midwest region. The role is based at Midwest Mechanical Solutions and requires regular travel to operating companies and customer sites.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in a service leadership role within commercial HVAC, and the ability to drive performance, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth while respecting local

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HVAC, mechanical systems, engineering, business is preferred.
• Significant experience in the commercial HVAC industry required.
• Minimum of 10 years in a service organization with leadership experience.
• Experience leading across multiple locations or business units is strongly preferred.
• Experience with manufacturer’s representatives or HVAC service providers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional leadership and support to service teams across Midwest operating companies.
• Collaborate with presidents and service leaders to improve performance and profitability.
• Lead regional service initiatives and manage field technicians and partners.
• Coach local leaders while safeguarding day‑to‑day authority.
• Develop staffing plans, tools, and processes to improve productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Establish and monitor regional service metrics such as revenue, margin, backlog, and CSAT.
• Drive continuous improvement and scalable solutions across the region.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and career development for service personnel.
• Coordinate with operations during integration of new operating companies.
