Job summary

S&S Activewear is seeking a Senior Safety Manager to lead regional health and safety programs across 5–10 distribution centers. You will drive policy execution, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote a culture of safety excellence through proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Safety, you’ll analyze performance data, conduct audits, mentor site teams, and travel regularly (25–50%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of regional EHS leadership experience across multiple locations.
• CSP preferred.
• Experience with SIF/pSIF prevention and risk management.
• Ability to influence leaders and collaborate with operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional safety strategy to reduce SIF and pSIF risks across distribution centers.
• Administer safety programs per policies; identify exposures and drive corrective actions.
• Partner with regional directors and site leaders to embed safety into operations.
• Lead complex incident investigations and learning reviews to identify root causes.
• Analyze safety and operational data to identify trends and drive strategic recommendations.
• Conduct site visits and travel 25–50% to assess risk and reinforce controls.
• Foster a culture of learning, engagement, and accountability in safety.
• Support workers' comp and return‑to‑work programs along with regulatory inspections.
• Develop safety professionals and leaders across the region.
