Job summary

Tecta America is seeking a Regional Senior Accountant for our Sanford, FL office to support accurate financial reporting, timely close activities, and strong internal controls across operating units. The role independently prepares journal entries, reviews project costing and WIP, analyzes variances, and collaborates with regional leaders.

A bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of accounting experience and solid U.S. GAAP knowledge are required; CPA/CMA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Construction accounting experience, including job costing, WIP, and cost-to-complete analysis; manufacturing accounting considered.
• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; CPA/CMA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned close checklists and deliver accurate journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage project costing, WIP, and cost-to-complete analyses.
• Analyze financial results against budgets and forecasts.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Train regional staff and standardize accounting processes.
