Tecta America is a leading commercial roofing company seeking a Staff Accountant for the Northeast Regional Finance team in Bloomfield, CT. The role involves close collaboration with the Regional Controller and operating unit teams to support multiple locations within the region.

The ideal candidate will handle financial reporting, forecasting, project accounting, and tax compliance, with opportunities for professional growth in accounting and finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 1+ year of accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and multi-entity accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting for multiple operating units.
• Support project accounting, cost-to-complete estimates, and budget adjustments.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Assist with audits, tax compliance, and internal controls.
