Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Regional Training Manager to lead the development, delivery, and compliance tracking of training across contracts.

This role balances strategic execution with operational excellence, collaborating with compliance, legal, HR, field operations, and account management teams. Qualified candidates will have 5+ years in training/compliance, instructor certifications, and strong platform management skills for dashboards and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in training, instruction, compliance, or security operations.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning, curriculum development, and training evaluation.
• Experience with auditing and compliance in government contracting or regulated security.
• Certified Instructor in CPR, AED, and Adult First Aid.
• Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and training/audit tools.
• Physically able to lift 35 lbs and conduct defensive tactics and firearms instruction.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field; high school diploma is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs including classroom, practical, and online modules.
• Build curriculum, syllabi, presentations, and testing materials for officer tiers.
• Develop New Hire Training and On-the-Job Training checklists for contracts.
• Organize training in OC spray, CPR/First Aid, handcuffing, firearms as required.
• Align training hours with contractual requirements and update curriculum as needed.
• Ensure availability of training materials, uniforms, and supplies.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and certification tracking for trainers.
• Deliver train-the-trainer sessions on curriculum delivery and compliance standards.
• Ensure trainers meet state training regulations (Guard Card, CPR, Firearms).
• Audit training records and materials for compliance; initiate retraining when needed.
• Track certification/licensing expiry and prevent compliance gaps.
• Monitor training metrics via dashboards and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate across Training, Compliance, HR, Legal, and Contracts teams.
• Support account managers with contract-specific training requirements.
• Oversee training platforms (Axis, KPA, Mineral) and generate reports.
