Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. in Valley, Nebraska, is seeking an individual contributor to manage site security, safety, medical emergencies and remote site monitoring.

This role requires integrity, discretion and the ability to work with staff, contractors and visitors across multiple North American sites. The position covers complex rotating shifts, provides advanced EMS response, enforces access control, and coordinates with law enforcement and emergency services while maintaining compliance with

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of related experience as determined by Valmont.
• Knowledge of security methods, access control, confidential info, threat detection and investigations.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR methods.
• Annual training review of hazardous waste management program.
• Ability to learn and recognize safe and unsafe operating conditions.

Responsibilities

• Rotate 48 hours one week and 36 hours the following to ensure 24/7 coverage.
• Provide advanced EMS/CPR first aid and AED services as first responder.
• Serve as primary contact for employees, contractors and visitors on safety and security.
• Demonstrate integrity and discretion in investigations and sensitive information.
• Monitor CCTV, access control and fire/life safety systems across sites.
• Perform threat assessment, escalate and coordinate with law enforcement/EMS/fire.
• Ensure compliance with Nebraska regulations and company policies.
• Maintain training, drills, and regulatory updates.
• Document incidents and reporting; support regional oversight.
