Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to drive EHS strategy across the site. You will implement the EHS Playbook, detect performance gaps, and work with local and regional leadership to improve safety and environmental outcomes.

The role requires initiating improvements, leading safety teams, and managing data on incidents, inspections, and permits. Strong collaboration and a commitment to Valmont’s safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with 3 years of EHS or related experience, OR 5 years of EHS experience.
• EHS responsibility with emphasis on implementation and maintenance of environmental, health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Support development and continuous improvement of EHS strategic initiatives.
• Assist in risk assessment to identify hazards and controls site-wide.
• Facilitate EHS teams and engagement to maintain compliance and drive improvement.
• Collect data for reporting, inspections and regulatory permits.
• Support training and mentoring on safety practices and standards.
