Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks a senior Associate Practice Area Director to lead the West region science and technology practice. This role can be located in Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, FL; or Tampa, FL, with travel required.

You will oversee staff, develop business plans, pursue opportunities, and deliver pharmaceutical, laboratory, semiconductor, and medical device projects, guiding client relationships with owners, architects, and PM/CM firms. The ideal candidate holds a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years of Life Science design experience, preferably in consulting engineering or A/E firms.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• 5+ years' experience in developing business for engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of MEP systems.
• PE registration is required.
• Effective team player with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and expand the regional science & technology staff.
• Coordinate execution of activities in the region and maintain client satisfaction.
• Generate new revenue and increase existing revenue streams.
• Develop and deepen relationships with owners, architects, and PM/CM firms.
• Track leads, forecast a project pipeline and develop winning strategies.
