Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group seeks a performance-driven Associate Practice Area Director to lead the regional science and technology team with growth over the West region, pursuing major projects and ensuring client satisfaction.

The role requires senior leadership, business development, and strong knowledge of MEP systems, with PE licensure and 12+ years in Life Science design. Travel and ownership opportunities are included in this management-led position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience.
• 12+ years of Life Science design experience, preferably a minimum of 5 years in consulting engineering or A/E firm.
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in developing business for engineering
• PE registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional science and technology team and expand staff.
• Develop business plans and pursue $1–$3M annual revenue.
• Coordinate goals with the global team and other geographies.
• Oversee project delivery, client satisfaction, and revenue forecasting.
• Lead client development and wining strategies for major projects.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences and write articles.
