Job summary

Purdue University College of Engineering’s Indiana ISBDC seeks a SE Regional Director to lead operations, budgeting, and stakeholder relations in the New Albany region. The role drives outreach, client services, and program performance in Indiana’s small-business support network.

Responsibilities include managing staff, securing funding partnerships, and reporting outcomes while collaborating with the Lead Center and regional partners. Exempt, on-site role in New Albany, IN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in senior management.
• Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM software.
• 2 years ownership or senior management of a small business is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the regional ISBDC.
• Develop and manage the Center’s budget and fund development strategies.
• Lead, coach and evaluate ISBDC staff and personnel.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure regional performance aligns with ISBDC goals and reports data.
