About This Role
We are seeking a Regional Sales Training Manager to join our team. This role is crucial for building our sales team and driving revenue. The position reports to the Director, Training & Development, and involves delivering engaging training and hands-on consulting across various locations, with up to 80% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to identify training priorities and deliver impactful programs.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and continuous education initiatives.
- Develop and execute tailored training plans based on business needs.
- Build strong relationships with trades (HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing) to understand business requirements.
- Monitor ongoing training needs at individual and organizational levels.
- Create and deliver hands-on technical training, including train-the-trainer activities.
- Design follow-up activities to reinforce learning and skills.
- Establish KPIs and report on performance metrics.
- Enhance and customize existing training programs.
- Coordinate training plans to support sales strategies.
- Partner with sales teams to develop sales initiatives and support integration with acquisitions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales training, sales leadership, or leading sales teams.
- Experience in home services or in-home sales (solar) and trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with key decision-makers.
- Skills in interpreting sales reports and influencing behaviors.
- Experience with change management and training diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in creating engaging training content across multiple formats.
- Strategic thinking and high energy leadership qualities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Technologically and mechanically inclined.
