REGIONAL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Reports to: Director of Business Development
75% Travel required in Multi-State Region (Western)
Company is a supplier of molding in the resilient flooring sector.
Responsibilities:
• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients such as big box, distributors and OEMs
• New Store openings, product knowledge training, special order sales and in store service.
• Assist DOM/DBD with Trade Show organization, meetings, setup, and events.
• Develop geographic target list monthly.
• Develop and maintain customer specific marketing strategies.
• Perform other duties, projects, and tasks assigned by Director of Business Development.
• Be very knowledgeable about the company’s products and competitive products.
• Understand, identify, quantify, and prioritize potential customers.
• Schedule & Conduct meetings/presentations with existing accounts as needed.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
• Identify and resolve client concerns including financial resources up to collection payments
• Enter daily activity into ‘Customer Relationship Management’ (CRM) Salesforce database.
• Develop and distribute weekly updated call reports on status of activities to Director of Business Development and CEO.
• Distribute monthly target list with status of each account to Director of Business Development and CEO
• Develop strong, ongoing relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Meet and/or exceed sales quotas and all other key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize sales efforts.
• Manage all updates and communications for customers.
• Manage price changes with assigned customers.
• Manage monthly expense reports and budget sales activities.

Skills / Abilities:
• Experience in flooring/trim sales or building products sales preferred.
• Experience in account management/development.

• BS/BA college degree preferred, but not required
• Strong verbal communication, relationship building, leadership, and organizational skills
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn new processes and positions to assist in other departments as needed.
Requirements:
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the US.
• Must have Real ID or Passport to travel by air.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 3-5 years of relevant retail and/or distributor sales experience.
• Must have a demonstrated history of results and the ability to learn quickly.
Compensation:
• Base Salary: $80K-$85K
• Percentage uncapped commissions on Sales
