Job summary

Simon Roofing in Cleveland seeks a Regional Sales Representative to expand our commercial roofing client base. You will develop relationships, deliver consultative solutions, and drive new business within the Cleveland region while benefiting from training and support.

Candidates need at least 2 years in outside sales, reside in the Ohio area, and be able to work remotely. A strong service mindset, prospecting skills, and comfort with Excel/Word are valued; a valid driver's license and US work

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of outside sales experience (roofing experience not required).
• Willing and able to work remotely (work from home).
• Must reside in the Cleveland, Ohio region.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Strong customer service orientation and local community knowledge.
• Ability to climb ladders to rooftops.

In the role of Regional Sales Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating new client relationships and nurturing existing ones within your designated territory.

Key responsibilities include:

Job Requirements:

• A degree focusing on Sales, Construction Management, Communications, Business, Social Sciences, or Marketing is preferred.
• At least 2 years of outside sales experience. (Roofing experience not required.)
• Work and reside in the Cleveland, Ohio Region (REQUIRED)
• Willing and able to work remotely (work from home)
• Cold Calling/Prospecting experience
• Customer service oriented
• Knowledgeable about the local community in your assigned territory
• Ability to climb ladders to rooftops
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to do extensive research on the Internet
• Team-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, with a business development mindset
• Strong skills in organization, active listening, and sales closing
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening
• Authorized to work in the US
